The article deals with the study, composition and structure of particles in Karakalpak language. Their differences and grammatical features from other word groups are also analyzed. Particles are one of the service words, giving different semantic shades to individual words or groups of words. The semantic and grammatic characteristics of the particles of Karakalpak language are an urgent task. The structural-semantic and functional analysis of particles is given, their place in the structure of the Karakalpak language is determined. The main morphological feature of particles is their immutability. They are devoid of lexical meaning. The absence of a nominative meaning does not allow particles to act as a separate member of a sentence; they do not express grammatical relations, like prepositions and conjunctions. The particles serve as an actualizer in the communicative structure of the sentence. By studying the particles, we can reveal the variety of syntactic functions they perform. Some particles are multifunctional and multi-valued. They do not lend themselves well to classification due to the variety of meanings they introduce into the text. This is due to the fact that often the same particle conveys a variety of content. The meaning of particles depends a lot on context. On the basis of literary texts, an attempt is made to reveal the polysemantic nature of particles.
