This article examines the concept of “man” through the prism of the linguistic worldview. In this regard, we adhere to the view that language assimilates everything perceived by humans, including the environment, events, and phenomena; therefore, it can be argued that the worldview is directly linked to the national spirit. The article describes linguocultural studies as a significant direction in modern linguistics and explores the representation of the male image in linguocultural units and paremiological expressions. Using factual material, it analyzes the usage of the lexeme “man” in proverbs, idiomatic expressions, and literary works within a comparative context of English and Uzbek.
