Annotatsiya

Romanticism marked the beginning of a new era in English demonological literature, when figures such as fairies, elves, and brownies rose to the status of dominant mythological characters in European fantasy literature. Fairies, who actively participate in the lives of protagonists, influence their actions through magical powers and display the qualities of tricksters, antagonists, and at times helpers and loyal friends, influenced the work of great writers, like magical spirits, and began to develop new artistic interpretations.
