This article examines the effectiveness of using the case method in Russian-language classes at universities specializing in economics. It analyzes the integration of professionally oriented scenarios into the educational process and the impact of this approach on the development of students’ speech and communication skills. The study presents survey and observation data indicating increased motivation and improved proficiency in professional discourse. The findings support the use of the case method in teaching Russian to economics students.
