Annotatsiya

This article addresses the process of developing an English for Specific Purposes (ESP) course in the field of aviation. A needs analysis based on surveys, interviews, and document analysis identified gaps in technical terminology, standardized phraseology, and operational communication. On this basis, a five-week course was designed, integrating theoretical instruction with practical simulations. In the assessment process, tests and scenario-based tasks aligned with ICAO standards were employed. The findings demonstrate the effectiveness of a needs-driven course design and the use of authentic tasks in the professional aviation context.
