This article analyzes the poetic imagery in Usman Azim's poem "Letter to Mother", with a particular focus on the aesthetic and psychological interpretation of the mother figure. The poet's emotional state, lyrical experiences, and themes of longing are illuminated through metaphorical expressions. In the poem, the harmony between the inner and outer worlds is depicted through metaphors of personification and objectification. The image of the mother is interpreted not merely as a biological entity, but as a divine, spiritual, and moral destination. Through this image, the poet has embodied life, loneliness, love, longing, faith, and pain using poetic symbols.
