This article analyzes the issues of developing independent thinking skills of students and pupils in the process of teaching the German language using modern pedagogical technologies. The possibilities of forming independent thinking through interactive methods, digital platforms, task-based teaching, and exercises based on multilateral communication are highlighted. The article also provides practical examples and recommendations from real lessons.
