This article analyzes the interplay between retrospective plot and artistic psychologism in Khayriddin Sultan's novella "Trust Phone." The story's events unfold through flashbacks from the present to the protagonist's past, which characterizes the retrospective plot structure. Themes such as mental anguish, alienation from society, and loneliness are conveyed through artistic psychologism techniques - internal monologue, symbolic imagery, and inner conflicts. The article examines the protagonist's inner experiences, process of self-realization, and relationships with society from a psychological perspective, highlighting the significance of the retrospective plot in this analysis.
