This article provides a comparative analysis of the semantic properties of English and Uzbek terms related to the field of logistics. Logistics terms are widely used in international economic relations, transport, and supply systems. Although many terms formed in English have been directly adopted or translated into Uzbek, their semantic accuracy and contextual equivalence have not always been fully preserved. The formation, adoption, translation methods (transliteration, calculus, alternative wording), and semantic differences of the terms were analyzed. Based on examples, it was revealed that some terms are used incorrectly or not with sufficient accuracy in the Uzbek language, and the need for a unified terminological approach in this area was shown.
