This article provides a detailed analysis of the significance and role of graphological examination in personal identification from the perspectives of scientific foundations, methodology, and judicial practice. Graphology is examined as a scientific field used to determine authorship through handwriting samples and to detect signature forgery. The article explores the capabilities and limitations of graphological expertise, as well as analytical methods employing modern technologies. It also highlights the role of graphology in identifying psychomotor characteristics unique to an individual's writing samples and determining whether the writing was produced naturally or under duress. The findings of the article emphasize the necessity of further refining graphological expertise and implementing modern methods and tools to enhance its reliability in judicial practice.
