This article analyzes the phenomenon of polysemy in the vocabulary related to summer sports games in English and Uzbek languages. The research aims to identify the lexical-semantic features of polysemy in sports terminology and highlight translation challenges caused by semantic ambiguity. The study also examines how this phenomenon influences expressive means in both languages.
