This article explores the formation and development of Arabic scientific terminology from historical, linguistic, and cultural perspectives. Arabic terminology evolved from a primarily religious foundation to a modern system adapted to meet the needs of contemporary science and technology. The article analyzes each historical stage (from the 7th to the 21st century), highlighting linguistic approaches, key theoretical frameworks, methods of term creation, and the processes of Arabization and interdisciplinary interaction. The author emphasizes the role of Arabic as a language of modern science and offers both theoretical insights and practical recommendations for its further development. This work serves as a valuable resource for scholars in Arabic linguistics, terminology studies, and scientific translation.
