This article analyzes the linguistic, semantic, phraseological, and cultural aspects of the concepts of “life” and “death.” Through conceptual analysis, the paper explores the expression of these notions in different languages (particularly Uzbek and other Turkic languages), associated idioms, proverbs, and their metaphorical usage in literary texts. The study highlights how the concepts of “life” and “death” are reflected in human consciousness and national culture, as well as their linguistic semantic fields and philosophical-comparative interpretations.
