This article analyzes the pragmatic features of prosecutorial speech based on examples from Uzbek and English languages. The prosecutor’s speech in court is examined not only as a presentation of legal facts but also as a persuasive tool aimed at influencing the audience and reflecting ethical and social values. The article presents a comparative analysis of speech strategies employed in both languages, emphasizing rhetorical tools, emotional appeals, and logical structures used to achieve communicative goals.
