This article is devoted to the analysis of phraseological expressions as stable linguistic units that play an important role in the language, reflecting the cultural and historical realities of the people. Various aspects of their origin, lexical and syntactic structure are considered. Particular attention is paid to the syntactic derivation of phraseological units, as well as how changes in their structure affect understanding and use in everyday speech.
