Technological progress, particularly the rapid development of the Internet and mobile technologies, is leading to the establishment of a digital environment in the social, economic, cultural, and technical spheres of society. This, in turn, highlights the significance of social networks and the information transmitted through them in the context of activities organized in these areas. In the current conditions, special attention is being paid to studying the place, role, and impact of social networks on the development of priority areas of society, including the education system. Although the issue of social networks' impact on human interactions, particularly in the educational environment, has been widely studied internationally, Uzbekistan is still accumulating initial experiences in this regard. The globalization of education naturally requires a comprehensive study of the influence of social networks on the field. The article analyzes both the positive and negative aspects of social networks' impact on global education.
