This article presents a comparative analysis of the lullaby genre in English and Uzbek children's folklore. The study examines the poetic structure, semantic features, and ceremonial significance of lullabies. English lullabies are characterized by simple rhyming patterns and smooth melodies, whereas Uzbek lullabies often include repetitive elements and blessings. The research demonstrates that lullabies serve to soothe children and strengthen the bond between mother and child.
