The article analyzes the state of irrigation and land reclamation in the Andijan region for the period 1865-1917 using data from scientific literature and archival documents. In addition, the study substantiates the construction of the main irrigation facilities in the Ferghana Valley, the use of their resources in agriculture, and the fact that the volume of irrigated areas increased from year to year under the influence of the cotton monopoly.
