This paper provides a comparative analysis of the stylistic features of metonymy and synecdoche in the works of Uzbek and English writers. The study explores how these rhetorical devices enhance meaning, create deeper layers of expression, and engage readers. It examines their roles in both languages, highlighting similarities and differences in stylistic application, cultural nuances, and literary traditions. By analyzing selected works of prominent writers, the paper demonstrates the impact of these devices on narrative structure and reader interpretation.
