The article delves into the distinctive features of stable combinations characteristic of the Karluk dialects in the Samarkand region, the linguistic peculiarities of Navoi's works, the research conducted by scholars in this field, the achievements made, and the meanings and usage of idioms in the poet's oeuvre. Indeed, the language of Alisher Navoi's works serves as a crucial research source for understanding which words were actively used in the speech of Karluk dialect speakers in the Samarkand region during the 15th century. This is because when the writer resided in Samarkand due to the circumstances of his time, he maintained strong connections with the local population and interacted with numerous teachers, poets, and students. Undoubtedly, this natural process is reflected in the language of his works. Furthermore, the idioms collected from the explanatory dictionary of his works have been compared with field materials.
