This article extensively explores the concepts of openness and sincerity in the medical field. The views of scholars on the notions of eloquence, openness, and sincerity in medicine are discussed, and their similar and contrasting opinions are analyzed. The manifestations of sincerity and openness in medicine are theoretically substantiated and illustrated with examples. Medical speech is considered one of the types of discourse that serves a crucial part of human life. It is a complex discursive formation that manifests itself in various aspects, genres, and communicative situations related to medicine in one way or another. The primary focus of our research is on open and sincere interpersonal communication between doctors and patients as a form of establishing trustworthy communication.
