The article examines the primary types of modern ideographic dictionaries of the English language, identifies the most distinctive features of each type, and evaluates their applicability in addressing specific practical tasks. Conclusions are drawn regarding the optimal use of each type of ideographic dictionary for solving particular linguistic and practical challenges.
