This article provides a comprehensive criminal law analysis of involving a minor in the use of narcotic drugs, their analogues, or psychotropic substances in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The study examines the objective and subjective elements of the offense, its qualifying features, and the specifics of law enforcement practice. Particular attention is paid to distinguishing this crime from illegal drug trafficking, determining the moment of completion of the offense, and proving the offender’s awareness of the victim’s minor age. A comparative legal analysis with the legislation of the Russian Federation is also conducted. Based on the research findings, proposals are made to improve criminal legislation and law enforcement practice, as well as to strengthen preventive measures aimed at protecting minors from drug abuse.
