This article analyzes the role and significance of justice in ensuring the rights of persons with disabilities from the perspective of international human rights law. The study is based on examining how equal and effective access to justice for persons with disabilities is a crucial condition for the realization of their other fundamental rights and freedoms. The article analyzes the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, particularly its Article 13, as the central legal framework, and elucidates the obligations of states to establish procedural guarantees for persons with disabilities within the judicial system. Additionally, the study examines the main challenges encountered in the judicial and legal system, including insufficient incorporation of reasonable accommodation mechanisms in procedural legislation, inadequate training of judges and law enforcement agencies, social stereotypes, and instances of multiple discrimination. The article concludes by proposing legal and institutional measures aimed at ensuring justice for persons with disabilities and substantiates the need to improve the judicial system based on a human rights-centered approach.
