Russian, with its complex grammar and phonetic nuances, has long been considered a difficult language to master. Traditional methods of teaching Russian have often focused on the written word, emphasizing grammar rules, memorizing vocabulary, and writing exercises. However, this approach can be limiting because it ignores the importance of oral communication in language acquisition. In recent years, there has been a growing awareness of the need to shift language learning focus towards oral speech, especially in teaching Russian. This article will argue that teaching Russian through oral speech is a more effective and communicative approach to language teaching.
