This article focuses on the importance of authentic materials in developing writing competence, providing a classification of these materials and evaluating their effectiveness. It also describes modern methods used to enhance writing skills. While acknowledging some negative aspects of using authentic materials, the article briefly emphasizes that their use can make lessons more effective. It highlights categories such as authentic audio-visual and written materials, which help address existing challenges. Additionally, it is noted that authentic texts serve as a motivational factor, contributing to more successful language learning.
