In this article, the study of terms such as concept, conceptualization, categorization, conceptual semantics, linguistic semantics, microconcept, macroconcept, verbalizer, verbal means, and non-verbal means, which are widely used in world linguistics, is explored. The opinions put forward by various linguists within the framework of these terms are also examined. Furthermore, it is explained that when a person understands, compares, and observes the realities of material existence, the term concept and the process of categorization become comprehensible. This leads to the formation of a conceptual picture of the world in the mind, composed of various concepts, which are then expressed through the language units at different linguistic levels.
