This article analyzes the fundamental concept of the right to personal inviolability and highlights its significance in criminal procedural activities within the framework of the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The article considers not only physical but also mental, informational, and legal aspects of personal inviolability. The study focuses on the alignment between the norms of national legislation (the Constitution and the Criminal Procedure Code) and international legal standards. In conclusion, the article emphasizes the decisive role of ensuring the right to personal inviolability in the formation of a fair judicial system and outlines future directions for its development.
