This article describes the personal life and entry into science of George Sarton, who is considered the founder of the history of science. It provides information about George Sarton's life from birth through his school graduation, detailing where and how he received his higher education, how he became interested in the history of science, and the influence of his personal life on the field. The aim of the research is to reveal George Sarton's role in shaping the history of science and how his personal life influenced this process. The research results, by elucidating the aforementioned issues, aim to increase interest in the history of science among both the general public and scholars
