The article examines the interrelationship between tolerance education and socio-demographic, cultural, religious, political, national, and personal factors. Various dimensions of tolerance—such as gender, age, interethnic, racial, religious, geographical, class-based, physiological, political, cultural, and interpersonal—are discussed. In addition, the role of existential, diversification, cognitive, behavioristic, dialogical, facilitative, and socio-cultural approaches in developing tolerance is revealed. The study highlights integrative, institutional, modular, and interdisciplinary models of forming a culture of tolerance, along with their potential in the educational process. Furthermore, a technology for developing tolerance among students has been designed on the basis of motivational, content, activity, and value-oriented stages, substantiating its contribution to ensuring moral and ethical maturity of the individual.
