This article analyzes the political processes that occurred in Turkestan during the first half of the 20th century, particularly the Jadid movement and the Soviet repression policy implemented against its representatives. The life and activities of Kudratulla Yunusov are examined as an example to illustrate the tragic consequences of Soviet repression.
