Cooperation between penitentiary institutions and territorial internal affairs bodies is an essential component of the law enforcement system in the country. One of the key aspects of such collaboration is the joint effort in solving crimes committed both inside and outside penitentiary institutions. Effective interaction between these structures not only enables the solving of crimes but also their prevention, thereby ensuring public safety and stability in society. This article examines the main forms of cooperation between penitentiary institutions and internal affairs bodies, as well as the role of such collaboration in crime detection.
