This article presents experimental research on developing an automatic control system for the seed feeder roller of a linter machine. The study aims to ensure optimal control based on raw material density and electrical energy consumption. Regression equations were derived and optimal operating parameters identified. Results show that the automatic system reduces energy use while maintaining cotton fiber quality. Based on mathematical models, a microprocessor control algorithm is proposed. The findings are important for improving linter machine efficiency and supporting the adoption of energy-saving technologies in cotton ginning enterprises.
