This paper investigates the optimization of geometric positions of light sources within a closed (indoor) space using the Monte Carlo method, and a Monte Carlo lighting model was developed. The study considers scene geometry, surface normals, and the Lambertian diffuse reflection model to determine the optimal placement of LED light sources. During the Monte Carlo integration process, variance reduction methods is achieved through optimization of the incident angle, geometric attenuation, and probability density function (PDF). Additionally, cosine-weighted sampling, uniform sphere sampling sampling, and variance reduction methods techniques are employed to obtain stable and low-noise reflected illumination values on surfaces.
