This article provides an in-depth study and analysis of the normative legal acts related to the suspension and reinstatement of advocate status in the Republic of Uzbekistan. It also examines the subject authorized to suspend and reinstate advocate status, their powers, as well as the grounds and timeframes for suspension and reinstatement, using practical materials. Based on the analysis, proposals and conclusions have been developed to address existing shortcomings. In addition, the authors, based on the analysis of national legislation, have formulated conclusions aimed not only at improving the legal framework, but also at further developing the theoretical foundations of the institution of advocacy.
