Mallory-Weiss syndrome is one of the significant causes of upper gastrointestinal bleeding, characterized by mucosal lacerations at the gastroesophageal junction and cardiac part of the stomach. This paper analyzes the etiological factors, clinical manifestations, and current treatment approaches. Particular attention is given to various endoscopic hemostasis techniques, including argon plasma coagulation, diathermoelectrocoagulation, infiltration injection, clipping, and ligation. Based on clinical observations, the effectiveness of these methods is evaluated. The study results demonstrate that modern endoscopic approaches play a crucial role in achieving reliable hemostasis in patients with Mallory-Weiss syndrome.
