The article examines the causes behind the armed movement against the Soviet regime in the Samarkand region, which began in early 1918 as a result of the colonial policy pursued by the Soviet government. It also discusses the driving forces of this movement and its leaders. Furthermore, the paper provides clarification on the main driving forces behind the armed movement in the Samarkand region.
