The article is devoted to the study of the legal framework and ways to ensure the safety of women from discrimination and violent acts within the Republic of Uzbekistan. International norms and domestic laws are being studied, in particular the CEDAW Convention and the Legal Act on the Protection of Women from Oppression and Violence. The types of violence are categorized, such as physical, emotional, material and sexual, and the existing institutional methods of protection are analyzed. Key challenges are identified and strategies are proposed to improve the system of women's rights protection through an integrated approach involving the interaction of government agencies, non-profit organizations and the international community.
