The deepening of global economic integration and the regulation of international trade through legal mechanisms are intensifying focus on the institution of subsidies. In particular, the Agreement on Subsidies and Countervailing Measures (ASCM) adopted within the framework of the World Trade Organization (WTO) plays a crucial role in strengthening the principles of clarity, consistency, and fair competition in this domain. This article analyzes the legal content of the concept of subsidies within the WTO framework, its classification, scope of application, and the primary mechanisms governing them.
