This paper examines the issue of labor motivation. It presents a brief overview of theoretical approaches, with particular emphasis on the role of the enterprise manager, whose activities and managerial behavior directly affect employee motivation and, consequently, the organization's overall effectiveness. Additionally, the scientific and theoretical foundations of workforce motivation are analyzed.
