This article analyzes certain concepts that may arise during the investigation of crimes related to the illegal preparation, possession, and storage of narcotic drugs, their analogues, or psychotropic substances without the intent of distribution. Additionally, the existing conflicting situations in the legislation were examined, and the author's definitions for some concepts were developed.
