Today, attitudes toward women in the past have become a historical value rooted in national traditions, and they are being legally reinforced in the national legislation of Central Asian countries. This article highlights the legal documents adopted by the Central Asian countries to achieve gender equality, the progress made in ensuring their implementation, as well as their positions in international gender equality rankings.
