This article analyzes the issues of ensuring the adversarial principle in the process of proof based on the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The role and significance of the adversarial principle in the implementation of proof, its legal foundations are covered in detail. The main problems in implementing the adversarial principle in the process of proof are identified, and ways to solve them are proposed. Based on the opinions of scholars, specific proposals and recommendations for improving the adversarial principle in proving have been developed. The article develops scientific and theoretical conclusions based on the analysis of judicial and investigative practice and scientific literature. The results of the research serve to improve criminal procedural legislation and enhance law enforcement practice.
