Annotatsiya

The article examines marginal social groups in Uzbekistan during the period of socialist construction and their position in society. It focuses on the processes of forced deprivation of rights for certain categories of citizens who were considered "alien elements" by Soviet authorities. Specific examples are provided of the deprivation of electoral rights and the repression of the clergy, merchants, kulaks, and other segments of the population, as well as the mechanisms behind political purges.
