The article notes that the crime of money laundering, due to its danger to society and the state, has attracted the attention of the world community and international organizations. In turn, international organizations have called on countries to review their strategies for combating this crime. The characteristics of the "hidden economy", which is one of the factors in its spread, will also be revealed.
