The article discusses the study of administrative procedures in the territory of Central Asia. The author focuses on the study of the historical aspects of administrative procedures, which contributed to the study of not only the emergence of administrative procedures but also the identification of factors that influenced the development and formation of administrative procedures as a key administrative and legal institution that logically fit into the structure of administrative and legal regulation. History, being a kind of "reference point", unites nations, and nationalities. History teaches us to treat time with understanding and analyze complex situations with many circumstances. Through this publication, the author conveys to the reader the need to study the genesis of administrative procedures, since it is the “turn to history” that allows us to study in detail the mistakes of the past that contribute to the improvement of our present and future. The purpose of this publication is to study the gradual development of administrative procedures in the Republic of Uzbekistan, by considering the theoretical problems of periodization. This publication is an attempt to form a detailed understanding of the emergence of administrative procedures in the Republic of Uzbekistan. With the help of this publication, the author conveys to readers that the administrative procedures that have survived to this day are not indebted to the world exclusively to Western European countries. The beginnings of the formation of administrative procedures were also present on the territory of Central Asia, but the study of which was not given due attention. When writing this article, legislative sources, clerical documentation, and Directive decisions of the National Archives of the Republic of Uzbekistan were used, as well as materials that are freely available on the Internet.
