Special attention is given to the matter of public discussions concerning draft normative legal documents adopted in our country. Several legislative measures have been implemented to address this issue. However, it is necessary to further enhance the legislation in order to ensure that suggestions and opinions expressed by citizens during public discussions are duly taken into consideration by the relevant state bodies. This article analyzes the process of considering citizens' proposals during public discussions and also presents recommendations for the continuous improvement of national legislation.
