Афсуски, ХХ асрда шўро тузуми туфайли маънавий ва илмий алоқа чегараларининг ёпилиши натижасида, биз хориждаги ўзбек адабиёти тадқиқотчилари ва улар ишларидан, кўп жиҳатдан, бехабар ҳамда бебаҳра қолдик. Эндиликда ғарбу шарқ олимлари ва улар яратган илмий маҳсулот билан танишиш имкони кенгайиб бормоқда. Ғарбда Алишер Навоий ҳаёти ва ижоди билан шуғулланган ва шуғулланаётган олимлар кам эмас.
