The article deals with the development of control algorithms for traction electric drive in modes under non-standard situations. The functional scheme of traction electric drive of electric locomotive with individual regulation is proposed. The regulation was carried out by scalar and vector systems, which made it possible to determine not only the modules, but also the location of the vectors in the coordinate system. As a result of the proposed simulation, electromagnetic moments decreased and velocity fluctuations disappeared. The proposed functional vector system made it possible to jointly regulate all motors when powered by an autonomous inverter.
