Since the beginning of this year, they began laying lashes the length of a block section on high speed and high-speed sections of the mass transit. Rail strands the length of a block section are laid to replace short (up to 800 m long) rail strands. Work on laying rail strands of a seamless track when performing complexes of work on major repairs and modernization of the railway track in the track facilities is carried out in accordance with Standard Technological Process No. 3, according to which inventory rails are disassembled and loaded by a laying crane, the rail strands are pushed into their working position manually. Thus, 1600 m of continuous track is laid in 3.5 hours. The technology used for laying rail strands in the track facilities of UTY JSC does not meet the requirements of today in terms of productivity and duration of “windows” for the work. This is due to the fact that the work production technology involves performing basic work manually. A new technology is needed for laying rail strands the length of a block section, ensuring maximum mechanization of the work. To solve this problem, a new technology for replacing rail lashes has been proposed. The proposed technology for replacing rail strands reduces the duration of work, increases the share of mechanization of work and will ensure the fastening of rail strands at the optimal temperature, without attracting additional resources associated with their forced entry into the optimal fastening temperatures, which will ensure a higher level of safety in the operation of a continuous welded track.
